PHYSIOTHERAPY

Tami is a registered AHPRA physiotherapist, graduating from The University of Queensland in 2022 with First Class Honours.

Being a circus coach and aerialist for 20+ years has given her great insight and knowledge into biomechanics, anatomy, and how that can be applied in a physiotherapy context.

Tami integrates her wealth of physiotherapy knowledge into her coaching, making her an excellent option for those looking to manage injuries or chronic health conditions within their circus training.

As a musculoskeletal therapist, her main clientele and areas of interest are performing arts and artistic athletes such as circus, dance and gymnastics, hypermobility spectrum disorders and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (HSD/EDS) and their commonly co-morbid conditions such as POTS and FND.

She also has an interest in hand therapy and working with boxers.

Physio-informed circus workshops are currently available for both circus schools, and professional development for trainers and other physiotherapists in the following:

Shoulder health and injury prevention in aerialists

Management of the hypermobile body within circus arts

Working with ASD/ADHD/Neurodivergent circus students

Tami is currently available for limited telehealth physiotherapy 1:1 sessions. Enquire about availability here.

If you would like her to attend your circus school or studio for a day or half day to treat your students or staff, please reach out to enquire.
